Day 2 – Wednesday

This morning we make our way to Arrowtown, one of the most picturesque settlements in New Zealand and sits alongside the gold-bearing Arrow River.  The town was established in 1862, during the height of the Otago gold rush.  The settlement grew quickly as pioneers constructed cottages, shops, hotels and churches, more than 60 of which can still be seen today.  After wandering the village we then make our way to Millbrook Resort for lunch at the Hole in One Café, located in the original farm stables of the resort.  Millbrook Resort is located on 500 acres of beautiful countryside with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.  Tonight enjoy pre-dinner drinks and dinner in our villa  (B,L,D)

Day 3 - Thursday

Today is free if you would like to take an optional excursion to Milford Sound, check out the Onsen Spa or you may like to just relax in our villa. Tonight enjoy pre-dinner drinks and dinner in our villa. (B,D)

Day 4 – Friday

This morning we head to Cromwell and step back in time in the Heritage Precinct.  Situated on the shores of Lake Dunstan, this unique heritage attraction is a mix of original and reconstructed buildings from the old main street of the 1860’s gold town of Cromwell.  The historic buildings are home to local artisans and cottage industries where you can find that special memento of your holiday. Wander through the old bakehouse, view the mud brick cottage or visit the art galleries and enjoy a barista coffee or tea at one of the cafes, overlooking Lake Dunstan.  We then make our way to Wanaka, with its magnificent lake and giant mountains it’s one of the most picturesque towns in the New Zealand.  Spend time wondering around the town before lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we head back to Queenstown via the Crown Range, New Zealand highest main road offering amazing views.  Tonight enjoy pre-dinner drinks and dinner in our villa. (B,L,D)

Day 5 – Saturday

Today enjoy a Cave Tour at Gibbston Valley Winery, including tasting of three varietals and a visit to their Home Block Vineyard, originally planted by the founder and wine pioneer Alan Brady in 1983.  After the tour enjoy a 2 course lunch with matched wines.  Tonight enjoy pre-dinner drinks and dinner in our villa. (B,L,D)

Today is free if you would like to do an optional lake cruise, go up the Queenstown Skyline, check out the shops in Queenstown or just relax in our villa.  Tonight enjoy pre-dinner drinks and dinner in our villa. (B,D)

Day 7 - Monday

This morning spend time walking around the Queenstown Gardens, located just a few minutes’ walk from central Queenstown.  The landscaped gardens include plenty of places to sit and admire the beauty of the gardens.  Pristine lawns, a large water feature, a wide variety of trees and plants, a rose garden, a couple of significant memorials and lake views provide a tranquil environment to spend the morning.  This afternoon enjoy a 2 course lunch at my favourite Queenstown restaurant – Rata, owned by Josh Emett.  Tonight enjoy pre-dinner drinks and dinner in our villa. (B,L,D)

Day 8 - Tuesday

After breakfast transfer to Airport
